Graduate Pensions Actuarial Analysts

  • Scotland: Glasgow or Edinburgh

  • Competitive Salary

The Actuarial market is a hard market to break into, the Pensions Actuarial market even more so.

You were likely great at Mathematics at school, a perfectionist who enjoys the complexity of numbers and how they translate into good, valuable information which cuts through the ambiguity of the English language.

You are most likely a whiz on Excel and show all your friends and family the spreadsheets you made and how all the shortcuts work… but they likely don’t share your same enthusiasm.

You will have a naturally inquisitive mind with an appetite for learning; both quantitative and qualitative. Someone who sees a problem and can think of creative ways to solve and implement it.

If that sounds like you then we are recruiting for 2 x Graduate Actuarial Analysts in Glasgow or Edinburgh.

Sitting within the Pensions team, you will be mentored by some of the brightest minds in the actuarial profession who will work closely with you in those first years to help you realise your potential.

You’ll provide an efficient, high-quality service and support to client teams, in the field of actuarial work relating to clients' UK defined benefit pension schemes where you will get involved in data manipulation, calculation of pension liabilities, valuations, and production of reports.

So, if you are looking to get on the pensions actuarial career ladder, there are few better opportunities than this one.
