Associate Benefit Consultant/Benefit Consultant

Struggling to get noticed?

Ignored or overlooked for promotion?

Hit that glass ceiling in a smaller outfit?

We are proud to be working with Buck whom offer the best of both worlds; big enough to provide support and mentoring and a place where your work is recognised and rewarded.

Don’t believe me?

With 2 recent promotions in this team of 8 you will be joining are hugely successful outfit

You won’t have to entertain office politics and have a direct line to those at the very top.

This allows for less red tape and eradicates credit stealing which can often take place – especially in the not so new hybrid working model (Buck were already doing this long before the pandemic hit).

New ideas are welcomed and actively encouraged; if you have a better way of doing something then they have the flexibility to implement it… quickly.

Promotions are clear too – robust goal setting and appraisal format makes it crystal clear what’s expected from you. The usual grey areas of what you need to get promoted doesn’t exist here.

For these roles you could WFH, not that you’d really want to, it’s a fun team with lots of team incentives and activities to get involved with across the year. Ideally, you’d be based in or near Manchester, London or Ipswich.

So, what will your day look like?

  • Provide support to Client Executives and working closely with the Client Executive support team.
  • Attendance at Trustee meetings with active participation and contribution when possible
  • Provide support to trustee secretary including drafting of meeting minutes and action points lists, and producing meeting packs
  • Support client team to manage workflow and maintain action logs
  • Liaising with other departments and advisers to deliver high quality service to clients
  • Look to build client relationships and become the “go to” person within the client team
